So it's finally spring break: THANK GOSH! No school for a whole week! But then you realize: You don't have any cash! Want to know how to turn your current clothes into new, trendy items? Here are three easy steps. Check it out!
LAYERS - Layering might be a lot for warm weather, but tanks can still be done! Wear an undershirt under a looser tank. Some of my favorite combos are my sky blue fitted tank with a new loose purple one. Throw on some shorts or a skirt, and you've put a new twist on your old clothes.
ACCESSORIES - So for this part, I suggest keeping it simple. Take a oair of feather earrings or a feather clip and
cut it so that it's only the feather. Then, take a safety pin or a hot glue gun and out the feathers onto your shirt, jacket, skirt, pants... Anything!
SHOES - So as far as shoes go, all I can say is that it's all about the sandals. Try taking any normal pair of cheap flip flops that you have and hot glue gun some straps of fabric onto them. Then, decorate these with glitter and gems, or anything else you might like to have on your sandal. Then you have a finished project!
I hope that this helped all of my broke iDivas!
See you next time!

Music Video? Me?
Of course, darlings! ANYONE can make a music video. Follow these easy steps to making your video the best that it can be!
Music: Will it be one of today's top tunes, or an original song? This sets the tone for your whole video.
Theme: Every song has a theme, and it's your job to figure it out. If the theme of the song is have fun, have your video be you and some friends just hanging out without a care in the world.
Costumes: The costumes go with the theme, s
o you have to match your style to the way the music sounds and what the theme is.
Editing: The effects always look very cool, but don't go overboard. Your video won't look as professional as Katy Perry's or Selena Gonez's, but in order for them to be good, you just have to be proud of your work.
So now I hope that you can make your own music video, and if you put it on YouTube, be sure to leave us the link in the comments, and I'll see you next time!

Everyone Will Be Raving...
... About your profile pic. Today I'm here to tell you about some quick tips and trucks to having the best profile photo out there!
1: Props - Everything is always more interesting with props. Accent your pic with a prop or two that represents who you are, but don't go overboard!
2: Photo Effects - These really look cool. Try giving your profile pic a pop-art look, or make it look old-fashioned.
3: You, You, and Only You - I understand that you might want your friends in your pic, and that's totally fine. But remember that this is YOUR picture. Try drawing the attention to yourself by wearing something bright and eye-popping, or a funky hat.
4: You're NOT Famous - Okay, I know that people use pictures of famous people and random cartoons, and that's fine, but I think that it's really much cooler if you use a picture of yourself-okay?
I hope that these quick tips helped you improve your profile pic!!!

That Time of the Year!
That's right everyone. You've just about survived the first month of 2012, and that means that Valentines Day is right around the corner! So pull out your glitter and glue, 'cuz it's time to make your Valentines. You can make them for anyone: your parents, your friends, even your crush! But wait, you can't seem to think of any ideas. Well then, be glad that I'm here. I came up with a few ideas here to help you all create the best valentines EVER!
Cookie-Grams
Okay, this is a really fun idea. So bake a cookie. Any kind: chocolate chip, plain sugar, etc. Then take a tube of frosting and write a nice message on the cookie.
"Love" Quoted:
Okay, so for this one, get red or pink construction paper and cut it out in the shape of a heart. Then, go online and research quotes about love and friendship. Write the quotes down on the heart and voila!
The "Coupon" Book:
Very common among young children and their parents, the coupon book is for anyone! First get some multi-colored construction paper and stickers, markers, pens, etc. Cut the paper into little rectangles. Then write "to" and "from" on the front page. On the next page, write something that they can turn in a coupon for. For example, if I were giving it to my friend, it might say something like, " One day at the mall, on me." or something like that. Do this on at least five pages and then bind it together with string and a hole punch.
Friendship Bracelet:
This is actually very simple yet wry fun. So get some pink, red, and white yarn. Next, braid the three strands of yarn together. Secure your braid. Next, take a few pieces of punk or red construction paper and cut it up into small squares. Write messages on them and then present it to your bud. A guaranteed bond!
Well, I hope that these ideas have helped you! See ya!

The Best Possible Idea EVER for a BFF Bash?
Well I'm glad that you asked. But what is it really? Well you're about to find out.
STEP 1: Make a decision: full-out party with all of the gal pals or a slumber party with a few besties? Once you've decided this, you can begin to plan all of the fun stuff.
STEP 2: One word: Food. You need to have the snacks that everyone's into. There's always the potato chips in a big bowl option, but lately it's all about being different. Some ideas you may want to try are:
Tortilla chips and guacamole
Fruit salad
Garlic bread and pasta
And then there's dessert. This party of you're doesn't call for cake, I'm assuming. Maybe something simple, like some DELISH frosted cookies - or if you want to REALLY be creative, set up a table in the corner with frosting, sprinkles - anything! and some plain sugar cookies. Then let your guests decorate their dessert! Some other desserts you may want to try are:
Bite-size cupcakes
Cinnamon buns (be original!)
A candy jar! (hey, why not?)
STEP 3: You're going to need to entertain your guests in some way. So what's it going to be? I've got this here to help you find the perfect activities for you and your friends!
If you're SPORTY...
Try playing a game of your fav sport - but with a twist: Winners get to chose something totally embarrassing that the losers have to do!
If you're ARTSY...
Pull out the pencils, girl, 'cuz your group of gals is about to take portraits to a whole new level. Split up into two teams: The Models and The Artists. The Models stand there and let The Artists pose them however they want. Then The Artists sketch out The Model's pose. When you're done - SWITCH!
If you're FASHIONABLE...
Pull out your cutest clothes and strut your stuff! You and your besties are going to have a runway show. Just throw on your sassiest look, slap on some makeup, and girl, own that catwalk. Videotape it and put it Ina DVD to give to your friends!
If you're MUSICAL...
Pull out that songbook, 'cuz girl, you and your gals are going to get wild. Write a totally crazy and random song about whatever, then pull out the video camera and make a music vid! Then put the footage on your computer and edit it all! Finally, put it on a DVD and give them to your friends as keepsakes!
STEP 4: The final and most important step: The invites. They set the tone for the whole bash. If they're too boring, no one's gonna wanna come. But if you step it up a little bit too high, they're going to think that you're just trying to impress them, and if they're your BFFs then you don't have to worry about that! Keep it flashy, yet simple. Name the basics: Time, date, place, the theme. Then get creative: Add some stickers or glitter, maybe put the invite on a bright neon paper. Finally, mail the invites out, and HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!
You have now learned how to make the perfect BFF BASH! Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or comments!
Adios for now,

Funky Fresh
Hey everyone! I was cleaning out my room today and came across a scarf that I've been looking for. Do you know what I did with it? I threw on a pair of leggings and wrapped it around my legs and created a very cute skirt or even a beach cover-up! I also used my braided belt as a sash! Tres chic!
